love it...

i can't say that i've ever been happier in life than i am at this stage RIGHT NOW. and obviously things aren't perfect, they never are. and maybe that's the secret...

finding joy in the imperfections...

i told a friend the other night that i think it's empowering to do hard things. it makes us stronger and more grateful and the people we are supposed to be.

p.s. little man goes in for surgery in the next 2 or 3 weeks. much thanks for the continued prayers, packages and well wishes. after his repair, we'll be hosting the party of all parties to celebrate this dude's life. we'll keep you posted.

  3. I love the words you say.

I think that doing hard things is empowering. Even second graders can recognize. At our conference they all names some of their biggest challenges as the highlights of their year.

    Well said.

  9. This little man of yours is too much. I'm so happy he is doing well. And with his big surgery around the corner, he will still be a topic in our prayers.

Ry keeps saying we are to hang out with you guys. Maybe you and I need to coordinate so it actually happens.

I don't know how you do the things you do, but I think you are amazing.
