so this is what we know...

tetralogy of fallot...TOF. that's what's wrong with little weston's heart. kind of. the only difference is that instead of a smaller pulmonary valve, he has no pulmonary valve. it's been a long day so i'll save details for later.

long story short, it's more complicated than we thought. surgery can still fix it, but he'll have lots of surgeries his entire life and his lungs are compromised as well.

the spectrum of possibilities of what can still happen is pretty broad, so we'll know more after he's born and we see how his lungs react to coming off the ventilator.

everyone i've spoken to and even people i haven't have let me know they are praying for him and our names are on lots of prayer rolls. we can feel your prayers and we love you for it. we'll keep you updated :)

and p.s. apparently this guy has the same thing...you can even see his scars. and the weird thing is, i totally saw homeboy in the airport a couple of weeks ago.

  6. I've been out of the 'blogging' world for a few months and didn't know any of this about Weston. I'm so sorry that I've talked to you and had no idea! We will definitely keep you in our prayers and will be thinking of your family. If there's anything you need, you know I'm just down the street. Please call!

  7. Callie,
We are praying for little Weston every morning and night. I talked to Camille today about specific things you may need. I just want you to know that he is specifically in our prayers right now and we are thinking of you and him and trying to think of things you will need. You are a woman of strength. I love you.
