a post to post a post...

Just wanted to say I'm not sick anymore. YAY!!!!!!!! It kicked my butt dudes. In my old(er) age I'm less and less resilient. Thanks again to Jon for basically letting me sleep for 2 days straight.

The happiest place on earth was much happier for us this year and we're already planning our trip for next year. I'm too lazy to go get my camera and look for fun pictures...sorry. And Jon loved Argentina so much he's already planning another trip for his birthday this year...and yes that would be October. Crazy, but fun.

Seeing and hearing about Mrs. Obama visiting Utah today got me thinking about all this importante (yes, that's Spanish) political stuff going on and I've come up with a few opinions and theories...and I usually shy away from opinions and theories of the political kind...but anyway, here they are.

I think I like Mitt. At first I didn't, and really for no reason other than I didn't want people to think I like him because we both read the Book of Mormon. But then I found out more about him and I sincerely admire him and his accomplishments and I really hope he wins the nomination. The end...of opining.

I think the Republicans are making Hillabeast...sorry, I mean Hillary, seem like more competition than she legitimately is. I think they WANT her to win the nomination, because they know that Senator Obama will kick their trash if he wins the nomination. The end...of theorizing.

So I like Mitt and I like Obama. Should that cause some sort of internal, political dilemna I'm not feeling? I kind of feel great about it. If they both win their party's nomination then I'm happy either way with the outcome! The end...of everything.

Oh! Wait! I'd better register, huh? That thought in and of itself is proof of how intriguing this year's race to the White House really is.

  1. When are we going to get together. You are the top girl on my list to be best friends with and I am still waiting. I was thinking of starting a special girl get-together-thing...wanna come? Seriously though, I think I want to do a recipe group, but make it fancy or something cool. The problem is I don't know how to be cool :( I just want to have a reason to get together with women that inspire me and make me happy to be around.

Ok, I can't believe Mitt dropped outta the race today :( Bummer.

So glad you're feeling better and so glad you had fun at Dland! I'm so jealous you got to go. I'm dying for a trip. My parents are taking the family there in May to celebrate Brooklyn's bday (late, her bday is in March) and my nieces bday, they're the same age...just weeks apart. It should be fun! Haven't been in 4 years.

    See you Monday morning, YAY!
