Argentina was FABULOUS! Uruguay was even better. It was a much needed break for both of us that we didn't realize we needed until we got there. We really hadn't felt so relaxed and laid back, EVER. The best part of the whole trip was that Jon LOVED it. And I think Uruguay was our favorite part. I got to back to an area of my mission and visit people there. We stayed in the most amazing old hotel in the little town and had the most amazing food. One of my old companions lives in the town we served in together and her hubby is the bishop. He asked me to speak in church on Sunday and it was awesome. I visited members and converts and just hung out.
We've been home for 5 days and I still haven't adjusted to the life of a mother of four kiddos four and under...I think I forgot how to multi-task. But I guess I gained a new respect for everything that I do. So, I'm tired...more tired than I can ever remember being. But being back with the kiddos is better than any vacation ever could be.
Oh...and we leave for Disneyland in a 9 days...so we'll bring the kiddos this time. :)
p.s. I forgot my camera. I know...doy! But Jon did what he does best so check out his blog out to see what we saw.
Hey Callie,
ReplyDeleteCute cute blog! I'm so jealous you got to go back to your mission. That's my goal by the time I'm 30 and since that's this summer, it ain't happening :( So maybe by 35?
Jon's photography rocks, seriously a talented guy. And you guys go to Disneyland soon? Wow, how fun.
You're welcome to check out my blog the-adams.blogspot.com
Hugs, Summer
You are making me and Scott extremely jealous. But our envy does not outweigh our pleasure of hearing about your awesome trip. I think it is so wonderful that you got to visit your mission while you're still young.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that y'all got to go and have such a fabulous time!!! How amazing to be among the people you learned to love on your mission and see your companion. It just sounds so wonderful!
