My sister just blogged about our Thanksmas weekend and I was going to do it tonight too! Thanksmas is a newly invented holiday in our family to be able to have some holiday time with our dad and his wife...things can get a bit complicated with divorced-remarried parents and in-laws and our own families. So anyway, we celebrated our third annual Thanksmas this past weekend and it was uber fun. I'll post pics later, but here's a pic I stole from Christine's blog of my new favorite part of Thanksmas...T-SHIRTS!!! Camille is the talented sketcher who created the shirts...anyway, I think I'm almost more excited for a cool new t-shirt every year than anything else...except fried turkey that is. Mmmmm mmmmm good!

ReplyDeleteThis is Lola. I really missed Thanksmas this year. For me, it is my most favorite holiday of the year. It is brings back many happy memories for me. My mother and dad used to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas at the same time every Thanksgiving. We did not call it Thanksmas, but it was sort of the same idea. The whole event was centered around family, games, activities,great food, family home evening, family council, and Father's blessings. Callie, I want to thank you for bringing this wonderful holiday to fruition. The memories made will be priceless. I love you dearly.

I miss you, lets get together and play soon. I got Michael guitar hero (I am SO nice-hehe) and it isn't as bad/evil as I thought. He LOVES it.. and I find myself wanting to play too. We should have Wii contest over the Wii net.
